No, I didn't get a dog... I wish! BUT I am now a proud "aunt". Molly and her fiance, Mike, got a little chocolate lab. He is the cutest! They picked him out before the holidays so I had to make sure to include a little treat for him under the Christmas tree. He won't be able to have these treats for a while BUT I couldn't resist making them when I found a dog bone shaped cookie cutter at Target. Paula Deen said her dog loves them so hopefully Gunner does too!

2 1/4 to 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 F degrees. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

Flour a work surface and roll out dough to a 1/4” thickness. Cut into desired sizes depending on the size of your dog. Bake on a parchment lined baking tray for approximately 20 minutes. Turn biscuits over and bake for an additional 15 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight container. **Can also be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months.
